Margot Roi Art is about making connections. Painting abstracted conversations links my viewers to an inner voice of discovered meaning. I'm interested in the tension/release dialogue that takes place during that expressive painterly state of grace with meditative moments in between. A joyful relationship with colour drives my method of layering & gestural mark making that flows intuitively with acrylic paint onto the canvas. This energy & process of building a narrative of chaotic celebrations is often based on themes of global concepts & emotional reflections.
